Highlights from InfoComm and UBTech

A group of DELTA staff took to Las Vegas in June to attend the 2018 UBTech conference and the InfoComm trade show produced by AVIXA™, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association. The group shared some of their favorite sessions and key takeaways from the events.

New Cohort of Faculty Set to Apply Quality Matters

After a successful pilot phase in spring 2018, the Online Course Improvement Program is gearing up for a new cohort of faculty who will work to make improvements to their online courses to meet the nationally recognized standards of the Quality Matters organization.

DELTA Prepares to Redesign WolfWare for Usability

As part of DELTA’s strategic goals, we strive to leverage learning technologies to increase student success as well as to increase collaboration and transparency with our services. In the 2017-2018 fiscal year, DELTA worked on a usability and redesign project for WolfWare to enhance the learning management system used campus-wide.

Jiakaira Dixon is the media production coordinator in Video Communication Services who schedules resources and DELTA classroom facilities. Dixon loves crafting, coupon-shopping and spending time with her family.

DELTA Announces 2018-2019 Grant Recipients

DELTA awarded more than $240,000 in new and continuing DELTA Grants to 29 recipients across the university including eight academic colleges and the Division of Academic and Student Affairs. DELTA Grants apply innovative pedagogy, instructional technology and course design to solve instructional challenges.
